A distinguished pathologist and Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada, Dr. King has combined clinical expertise with national healthcare leadership. His experience in health system planning—including his contributions to Saint Lucia’s Health Sector Reform, Universal Health Care proposals, and National Strategic Plan for Health—has informed his role in guiding Tapion’s growth into a world-class medical facility.
Beyond his work at Tapion, Dr. King has been deeply committed to community development and public health advocacy. He is a co-founder of the AIDS Action Foundation and RISE (St. Lucia) Inc., championing youth empowerment, healthy development, and violence reduction. He has also served as an Independent Senator, contributing to national policy and governance.
