I am a General Surgeon with more than 15 years experience in both public
and private health sectors. I graduated from the University of the West Indies
as one of the first and few female General Surgeons to do so and I returned
to Saint Lucia as the first and youngest local Female General Surgeon. I have
a special interest in Breast Cancer and Breast Diseases & Health. I am also an
avid advocate for healthy living, health sector reform and health equity.
My experiences as a physician throughout the Caribbean have given me a
unique 360 degree view of most health systems – the deficiencies, the areas
we do well, the areas that need advocacy and most importantly, the reasons
why advocacy was necessary.
I continue to ADVOCATE FOR, MENTOR & EDUCATE anyone who crosses my
path, starting with our very young. And I continue to strive to deliver the best
quality CARE for all of my patients.
