Mr. Anselm Mathurin is a 25+ year Technology Executive. He has held local and regional senior positions at the former Cable & Wireless before exiting in 2023. He was primarily responsible for Product development and management. He is an active property investor and developer. He is also the host of the Caribbean’s first Property Investing Podcast.

Anselm is also passionate about technological innovation, specifically in FinTech startups and is currently pursuing a PhD at UWI Cavehill in the same area. Committed to youth empowerment and people development, he also serves on the Boards of SMFC, YEA and St. Lucia Realtors Association. Outside of work he enjoys tennis, pickleball, golfing and travel

Dr. Suzanne Beaubrun

Mrs. Beaubrun is a graduate of The School of Physical Therapy of The University Hospital of the West Indies. She has over forty years of experience working as a physiotherapist. Prior to joining the team at The Tapion Hospital, Mrs. Beaubrun worked in Jamaica. There, she was the Head of the Physiotherapy Department at The St. Ann’s Bay Hospital. She came to St. Lucia in 2013. Here, she has worked at The St. Jude Hospital and had a private out-patient physiotherapy clinic. She became part of The Tapion Hospital team in 2016.

She is an active member of The Physiotherapy Association of St. Lucia and currently holds the position of Vice-President there.

She has experience in all areas of physiotherapy. She has a special interest in Chest Physiotherapy, Manual Therapy and Musculo-Skeletal Conditions. She is registered with The Allied Health Council of Saint Lucia and continues to hone her skills with continuing education courses.

Dr. Alpha Augustin

Dr. Augustin is a dedicated and highly respected physician with over a decade of distinguished clinical experience.

She completed her medical training at the Latin American School of Medicine in Cuba. Dr. Augustin further solidified her expertise by pursuing postgraduate studies in Internal Medicine at the University of the West Indies (UWI), Cave Hill, Barbados. This rigorous training instilled a foundation in patient-centered clinical care.

As a long-standing and active member of the St. Lucia Medical and Dental Association, Dr. Augustin has served the organization in various capacities. Her commitment to excellence was recognized when she received the Outstanding Junior Physician of the Year award. Driven by a passion for cultivating future medical talent, she currently dedicates time to mentoring junior physicians.

Dr. Lucilla Urban Charles

Dr Lucilla Urban Charles is a proud St Lucian Obstetrician/Gynecologist, with 19 years of experience in managing female reproductive health. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Superior Institute of Medical Sciences, Santiago de Cuba, 2004 and completed her post graduate studies in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus, Jamaica 2013. During her 9 year tenure as Head of Department at the Victoria and OKEU hospitals; she spearheaded the implementation of support person at both vaginal and cesarean deliveries; an achievement she is most proud of. Dr Charles collaborates with PAHO as a temporary advisor conducting perinatal audits in several Caribbean territories and she is the immediate past president of the St Lucia Planned Parenthood Association.

Dr. Horatius Jeffers

Dr. Horatius Jeffers has been a consultant at Tapion Hospital from its inception. Dr Jeffers is a provider of specialist services of surgical and non surgical management of general Orthopedic conditions for both pediatric and adult patients. These services include hip and knee reconstructive surgery along with the management of muscle skeleton trauma.

Dr. Professor Esteban Roig Fabre

Professor Esteban Roig Fabre Is a distinguished and highly acclaimed Cuban Neurosurgeon. He has etched his mark of invaluable service in various countries – such as Cuba, Angola, Vietnam, Namibia, Latin America and the Caribbean. He has also trained over 100 neurosurgeons from around the world. Professor Roig’s educational portfolio comprise of obtaining his Medical Degree in 1974, his Specialist First Degree in Neurosurgery in 1980, and his Specialist Second Degree in Neurosurgery in 1990. These years of training are a testament to the wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise he brings to St. Lucia. In 2010, Professor Roig went on to obtaining his Doctoral Degree of Titular Professor in Neurosurgery (PhD), a monumental achievement. Currently Professor Roig holds the position of Consultant Neurosurgeon at Cana Neuro Services, St. Lucia. His extensive portfolio, monumental accomplishments, and wealth of knowledge and expertise all contribute to the development of Neurosurgery in St. Lucia, a blessing and benefit that is invaluable to the our healthcare system.

Dr. Charles Greenidge

Dr. Greenidge is a general surgeon who trained at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Barbados, and later in Glasgow, Scotland in general surgery with specialization in arterial and venous disease, endoscopic and laparoscopic surgery. In (2012-2013) he returned to Scotland to do a fellowship in gastrointestinal surgery at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary, which included laparoscopic surgery and cancer surgery in addition to surgery for gall stones, oesophageal reflux, and obesity. From 2022 to 2024 he worked as a consultant endoscopist doing advanced endoscopic procedures at The Bradford Royal Infirmary. He is currently the President of the Caribbean College of Surgeons.

Dr. Julius Gilliard Completed his Psychiatry residency in July 2017 at UWI, St. Augustine Trinidad. He has been employed with the St. Lucia National Wellness Centre from August 2017. He is very passionate about Mental Health and plans to assist with the delivery of Mental Healthcare to the St. Lucian public and also to reduce the stigma associated with Mental Health Issues in St. Lucia.
