Dr. Lucilla Urban Charles

Dr Lucilla Urban Charles is a proud St Lucian Obstetrician/Gynecologist, with 19 years of  experience in managing female reproductive health. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Superior Institute of Medical Sciences, Santiago de Cuba, 2004 and completed her post graduate studies in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus, Jamaica 2013. During her 9 year tenure as Head of Department at the Victoria and OKEU hospitals; she spearheaded the implementation of support person at both vaginal and cesarean deliveries; an achievement she is most proud of. Dr Charles collaborates with PAHO as a temporary advisor conducting perinatal audits in several Caribbean territories and she is the immediate past president of the St Lucia Planned Parenthood Association.
