Richard Du Boulay, BSc, ACCA, is a seasoned business leader with over 30 years of experience in finance and executive management across diverse industries.

Since 2015, he has served on the Board of Tapion Hospital, where he plays a key role in strengthening financial governance, strategic planning, and long-term sustainability. A steadfast confidant and supporter of the institution, Mr. Du Boulay was particularly instrumental during the hospital’s critical period of transition and growth between 2013 and 2018, helping to guide key decisions and reinforce organizational stability. Drawing on his extensive background in finance and business transformation, he provides critical oversight on fiscal management, operational efficiency, and investment decisions.

 His contributions have supported the hospital’s continued growth, modernization, and ability to expand specialized services while maintaining high standards of care.

Mr. Du Boulay began his career in accounting with Coopers & Lybrand and PKF before advancing into senior leadership roles across retail, hospitality, telecommunications, and manufacturing. He has held executive positions including Chief Accountant at M&C Home Depot, CFO of Coco Resorts, and leadership roles at Karib Cable and Du Boulay’s Bottling Company, where he was involved in its merger with Heineken St. Lucia. He later served as Managing Director of CPJ St. Lucia Limited, guiding its development into a diversified retail and distribution business.

In addition to his corporate career, he is a co-founder of a property development and manufacturing enterprise representing Rock Hard Cement in Saint Lucia. His governance experience includes serving on the board of Heineken St. Lucia, as well as national leadership roles such as Chairman of the Trade and Export Promotion Agency (TEPA) and President of the Saint Lucia Manufacturers’ Association.
