Mr. Anthony Bevan

Mr Bevan’s journey with Tapion Hospital began with a request from Dr. Trona Bennett to assist in resolving a series of operational challenges. What was initially intended to be a two-week engagement quickly evolved into a full-time commitment.
At the time, Dr. Romel Daniel served as Chairman and emphasized the need for a property manager who would take true ownership of Tapion’s facilities. Embracing this vision, he adopted a collaborative management approach—working closely with department leaders, sharing responsibility, and encouraging active participation in decision-making.
This team-driven philosophy led to the successful initiation and completion of several key projects that helped establish Tapion Hospital as a premier healthcare institution in Saint Lucia. These included the development of the Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, Radiology Department, and the construction of the New Wing, which significantly expanded the hospital’s medical services.
The role required navigating complex challenges, calling for diplomacy and adaptability. He benefited from the unwavering support of the hospital’s dedicated staff and the invaluable guidance of several founding members, whose contributions continue to inspire.
His involvement in Tapion Hospital’s growth and success remains one of the most rewarding aspects of his professional journey.
