Dr. Melville completed medical training at the University of Guyana followed by time at Mount Hope Hospital in Trinidad. Later, training in Hyperbaric Medicine was accomplished with National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and Undersea Hyperbaric Medical Society in Seattle, Washington, USA. Having served in the Emergency Room at Tapion Hospital for more than 10 years, Dr. Melville currently practices privately and oversees the Saint Lucia Hyperbaric Chamber, housed at the hospital, treating illnesses amenable to Hyperbaric Therapy including Diving related injuries and other UHMS listed disease processes. Dr. Melville also functions as the Divers Alert Network Referral Physician for Saint Lucia.
